Some time on a warm summer day, during another family road trip, I made a quick rest area pit stop. Coming back, I got a glimpse of my 2016 Subaru WRX ("Blue Beast") looking epic in the evening sunlight. Inspired by the scenery, I snapped a couple reference pics to later illustrate this moment. I normally don't do freehand illustration, but playing around with the various vector tools in Adobe Illustrator made this an interesting creative exploration.
